Beschrijving:Seeking to develop a free-standing clothes and hat stand out of ecologically thinned oak or walnut, avoiding the use of solid wood, the designer created a piece of sculpture cinsisting of three interlocking bent frames that support each other. Thirty-eight successive layers of bent oak veneer are glued and assembled, creating a comparatively light and strong sheet material, which is then cut into frames. The Triena stand is hand made and available only in natural oak. |
